Yes! We've begun a new initiative in which our behavioral techs can accompany your child to school to help deter classroom disruptions as a consequence of difficult behavior. 

We will use our own programming based on medical necessity. 

At KBC, we strive to meet the needs of the whole child, "bridging the gap". Our goal is to provide ABA therapy to target skill development which increases independence and impacts the child's ability to function in everyday situations. Navigating the unknowns can be stressful and scary. We believe in building trust and relationships with children in a comfortable, natural play-based setting or environment that is best suited to the needs of the child.

• The American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization of professionals concerned with intellectual disability and related disabilities, designated ABA-based procedures for the treatment of behavioral problems with individuals with intellectual disability and related disorders as "highly recommended" (Rush & Frances, 2000).

• Autism Speaks states that “ABA is widely recognized as a safe and effective treatment for autism”; and “Behavior analysis is a scientifically validated approach to understanding behavior and how it is affected by the environment.”
