Tara, BCBA is a dynamic leader with over 16 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Specializing in training, learning and development, and clinical quality, Tara has worked in schools, clinics, and in-home settings. With extensive leadership experience as a Regional Director and Director of Clinical Services, Tara has been instrumental in building ABA organizations from the ground up, developing strong teams, and establishing high-quality clinical programs.

 My name is amber. I am a woman of many talents, which include cake decorator, cell phone repair, art and photography. I have a son with special needs. I may be short but I am fierce.

 Hi, I'm Alena. I am 18 years old and majoring in special education and psychology. I have been working in this field for about a year and there's nothing else I'd rather do! I will be attending school to pursue being a BCBA! Outside of the clinic, I love playing video games, reading, traveling and camping!

 Hi, my name is Alissa and I am currently studying to become a Registered behavior technician. In the future, I plan on going back to school to pursue a career as a BCBA. Outside of work, I enjoy watching my favorite shows and spending time outside in warm weather.

 My name is Samantha. Everyone calls me Sam. I have have been in elementary education for 14 years, five as Special Education Paraprofessional. Being a part of KBC has been a wonderful challenge for me. Helping our kids grow is truly rewarding experience. I  love spending time with  my family, camping and road trips.

 Hello! I'm Melissa and I can honestly say this is my dream job! I love working with kids and also have 3 special needs kiddos of my own. I am currently studying to be an RBT and plan to continue working on higher learning after. In my down time, I enjoy crafting and hanging with my kids. 

Keriann Ross, BT

 Hi, I’m Keriann. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a concentration in children and adolescents. I love working with children and giving them tools to help them be successful and independent. In the future, I would like to pursue a career as a BCBA. Outside of work I love playing disc golf and adventuring.

 Hi, I'm Layna. I am studying to be an RBT. It was weighing heavily on me for many years to change careers because I wanted to work with children. I was too scared to take the leap but did it when we moved back to Montrose. And I am so happy I did! I enjoy the family unit at KBC and the passion each person has for the ones we help. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and kids. 

TyTianna Castleberry, BT

 My continuous studies of psychology, health science, and creative arts has motivated me to become a Behavior Technician. Sharing positive influence, teaching essential everyday tasks and providing genuine services to the community fulfills my purpose and commitment to wellness. Off-duty on a nice day, I'm out exploring nature 

Maddie Schoenecker, RBT

 Hello, I'm Maddie. I have a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a special interest in psychology. I have a passion for working with neurodivergent children and have been an RBT for a year prior to working at Keystone. I aim to pursue my BCBA in the fall to continue growing my skills in the field I love. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, caring for my plants and pets, working out, and exploring national parks. 

Sonya Bean, BT

 Hello, my name is Sonya. I am currently working toward a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I truly enjoy working with children, especially one on one. Our population of children has captured my heart! Outside of work, I love to spend time with my daughter and my family.

  • Relevant experience preferred: We're made up of EMTs, Behavioral Technicians, Teachers, and anyone else with experience in childcare, education, medical/psychiatric care, etc.
  • All employees are required to complete a 40-hour course to earn a certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician, paid for by KBC.
