BCBA, Founder, Clinical Director

Tara, BCBA is a dynamic leader with over 16 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Specializing in training, learning and development, and clinical quality, Tara has worked in schools, clinics, and in-home settings. With extensive leadership experience as a Regional Director and Director of Clinical Services, Tara has been instrumental in building ABA organizations from the ground up, developing strong teams, and establishing high-quality clinical programs. 

I am a lifelong learner and teacher, with degrees in elementary education and special education, including a Masters.  I retired from teaching in Jefferson County. Retirement my family to Montrose. I love biking, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing and anything outdoors. I went back to in the school system as a substitute where I met Mallori. As they say, the rest is history. I came to KBC to pursue my love of working with children. I started as a behavioral technician and then moved to admin where I get the best of both words. I get to work with the kids as well as work with the team to continue to grow KBC as a force in the community. The ability to make a difference in our clients lives is what make KBC truly special.

 Hi, I’m Keriann. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a concentration in children and adolescents. I love working with children and giving them tools to help them be successful and independent. I am currently pursuing my masters degree to become a BCBA. Outside of work I love playing disc golf and adventuring. 

 Hello, I'm Maddie. I have a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a special interest in psychology. I have a passion for working with neurodivergent children and have been an RBT for a year prior to working at Keystone. I am currently pursuing my masters to become a BCBA to continue growing my skills in the field I love. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, caring for my plants and pets, working out, and exploring national parks. 

Hi, I'm  Katie. I have three years of experience working as a paraprofessional in a Specialized Support Needs (SSN) classroom, where I provided individualized support to students to promote their learning and development. I am eager to continue growing professionally and expanding my skills through this opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Keystone. Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, which allows me to express my creativity, and spending time outdoors to relax and recharge.

 Hi, I'm Alena. I am 18 years old and majoring in special education and psychology. I have been working in this field for about a year and there's nothing else I'd rather do! I will be attending school to pursue being a BCBA! Outside of the clinic, I love playing video games, reading, traveling and camping! 

 Hi, my name is Alissa and I have achieved my Registered Behavior Technician certification. In the future, I plan on going back to school to pursue a career as a BCBA. Outside of work, I enjoy watching my favorite shows and spending time outside in warm weather. 

 As a devoted family man with personal experience supporting children on the spectrum, I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental challenges. I am committed to expanding my skills and expertise in the field of behavioral therapy.

 My name is Samantha. Everyone calls me Sam. I have have been in elementary education for 14 years, five as Special Education Paraprofessional. Being a part of KBC has been a wonderful challenge for me. Helping our kids grow is truly rewarding experience. I  love spending time with  my family, camping and road trips. 

 Hello, name is Tisha and I am a RBT here at Keystone. I am dedicated to providing children with a safe space to be themselves, give them the step by step tools they need to be the best individuals they can be in this world. I have a background in early childhood education that allows me to understand the importance of child development,  learning strategies,  and the social-emotional needs of children. Outside of work my favorite things include family time, exploring nature, and photography.

 Hi, I'm Layna. I am an RBT at KBC.  It was weighing heavily on me for many years to change careers because I wanted to work with children. I was too scared to take the leap but did it when we moved back to Montrose. And I am so happy I did! I enjoy the family unit at KBC and the passion each person has for the ones we help. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and kids. 

 Hi my name is Sofia and I’m studying to be an RBT. Before coming into the ABA field I worked in childcare as a preschool teacher for 4/5 years. I love all things outdoors such as Paddling boarding and camping! I love spending time with family.
 

 Hello, my name is Sonya. I am currently working toward a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I truly enjoy working with children, especially one on one. Our population of children has captured my heart! Outside of work, I love to spend time with my daughter and my family. 

 Hello! I'm Melissa and I can honestly say this is my dream job! I love working with kids and also have 3 special needs kiddos of my own. I plan to continue working on higher learning after. In my down time, I enjoy crafting and hanging with my kids. 

Hi, I’m Jade. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCCS. I have a background in mental health and case management. I have really enjoyed working in Human Services and I really love working with kids. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, music, crafting and spending time with my family and 2 little ones.

 Hi, I'm Jason.  I have worked with children and adults with abilities for over 30 yrs and have enjoyed every moment to connect and hopefully make a tiny difference in their life, as well as mine. I hope to continue to learn and grow from working with our kiddos and staff at KBC.  I play in several bands in the Montrose area and look forward to serving in our community. 

My name is Amber. I am a woman of many talents, which include cake decorator, cell phone repair, art and photography. I have a son with special needs. I may be short but I am fierce.
